He was predeceased by : his parents, Leila Bell Thomas Fortner of Mantee, MS and William Fortner; his children, Jerry Fortner and Joyce Fortner Sneed; his son-in-law Dean Parker; his granddaughters, Monica Sneed and Violet Logan Casey; and his siblings, Harold, Joe, Harry, Wallice, Homer, Ida, Arietta, Cora Mae Fortner Barnwell and Louise Fortner Varden.
He is survived by : his wife Norma Jean Brewer Fortner; his daughters, Linda Logan (Frank) of Charleston, MS and Annette Parker of Batesville, MS; his son-in-law Tom Sneed of Courtland, MS.; his grandchildren, Lee Sneed (Jennifer) of Courtland, MS, William "Bubba" Logan, III (Amanda) of Batesville, MS, Adriane Hall (Jeff) of Enid, MS, Marilyn Bennett (Jim) of Blackshear, GA, Gordon Logan (Morgan) of Collierville, TN and Nolan Parker of Virginia Beach, VA; his cousins, Bobby Fortner (Bonnie) of Millington, TN and Howard Fortner of Andalusia, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Brewer Dees of Teasdale, MS and Levi Brewer (Cookie) of Crowder, MS. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
