He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Hurst and Judy Elaine Thompson (Ellis) of Mantee; and his grandchildren, Dale Orrin Peterson, Scott Andrew Peterson, Robert Joe Thompson, Elena Renee Thompson, John Ellis Thompson, Heather Ann Thompson, Tonya Wilson, Brady Britt, Joshua Hurst and Angie Hurst. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
