He is survived by : his wife Wilma; his children, Dr. Tami L. Howard, D'An Howard Carter (Donnell), Elana J. Howard and Jonathan Mitchell Howard (Nicole); his grandchildren, DJ, Krystle, Eden, Emerald, Lily and Joaquim Mitchell; and his sister Vivian Alfreda Gorden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
