She was predeceased by: her husband R. C. Mitchell; her parents, William Davidson and Bessie Davidson; her grandson Mitchell Knudsen; and her sisters, Bardrell Warner, Christine McCain and Mary Nell Adams.

She is survived by: her children, Rita Knudsen of Cumming, GA and Larry Mitchell (Virginia) of Orange Park, FL; her grandchildren, David Knudsen (Josette) of Cumming, GA and Larissa Gorden (Joe) of Jacksonville, FL; and her sister Patricia Smith (Billy) of Sardis, MS.. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Blue Lake Baptist Church.
