Though Bud may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bud touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Chun and Dovie Chun; his wife Betty Chun; his daughters, Katherine Smith and Glennie Golden; and his niece Jamie McCrory.
He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Smith, Steve Smith, Chris Smith and Bud Allen Chun II (Bubba); and his siblings, Terry Chun and Carolyn White. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Marks Baptist Church (105 Collins Rd, Marks, MS 38646). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
