She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd McFarland and Miriam Bently (Shivers); her grandparents, Dona "Mildred" Sorrells and Otis Sorrells; her brother Daniel Shane Shivers; and her grandmother Hattie Mae McFarland.
She is survived by : her aunt Sherry Shivers; her husband Charles Ervin Alexander; her children, Shari Johnson, Jennifer Alexander, Aliyah Alexander, Kailyn Alexander, Donravis Cotton, Brandon Alexander and Noah Alexander; her grandchildren, Jakayla Alexander, De'Yaunah Robinson, Erica Cotton, Aubryona Alexander, Ry'Leigh Alexander, Rayleigh Alexander, Donravis Cotton Jr., Princeton Alexander and Kaisen Lewis; her brother James Bentley Jr.; her godson Dominique Sparks; and her pets, AJ Alexander and Bentley Alexander. She is also survived by Uncles, Aunts, Nieces and Nephews.
