It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Swedenburg of Mayhew, Mississippi, born in Millport, Alabama, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Nathan Pennington Swedenburg; and his brother Wallace Swedenburg. He is survived by: his wife Bess Yelverton Swedenburg; his daughters, Margaret Ellen Jackson (Joey), Julie Kennedy (Bo) and Janie Mills; and his grandchildren, Brittany Jackson Mallette (Brad), Boyd Jackson, Stanley Kennedy (Mary Ellen), Penn Kennedy, Whit Mills (Bailey), Bess Mills and Maggie Mills.
