She is survived by: her children, Angie Tidwell (Shelby) of Mayhew, Mississippi and Michael Smith (Keri) of Burleson, Texas; her grandchildren, Connor Tidwell (Katie) of West Point, MS, Carson Tidwell of Mayhew, MS, Cayla Tidwell of Mayhew, MS, Cailyn Tidwell of Mayhew, MS, Anna Smith of Oxford, MS, Justin Smith (Emily) of Etta, MS and Hunter Smith (Lexi) of Pontotoc, MS; and her siblings, David Peeples (Elizabeth) of Pasadena, TX and Pat Murphy (Johnny) of Walls, MS. She is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (282 McCord St, West Point, MS 39773).
