She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Vance and Gladys Noland Vance; her husband Doyle Ray McKay, Sr.; her son Royce Carlton "Snuffy" McKay, II; and her brothers, Lloyd Vance and Wayne Vance.

She is survived by : her son Doyle McKay, Jr. of Carrollton; and her siblings, Lynn Herring of Winona and Billy Vance of Petit Jean, AR. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
