He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Lewis Hayman and Elva Naul Hayman; his wife Sybil Thompson Hayman; and his great grandchildren, Eden Elisabeth Slaven and Laurel Elyse Slaven.
He is survived by: his children, Jim N. Hayman (Jo) of Nolensville, TN and Lea Luby (Dave) of Pensacola, FL; his grandchildren, Jessica Slaven of Madison, MS and Jeremy Slaven (Kristen) of Clinton, MS; and his great grandchildren, Enly Gray Slaven and Eadie Claire Slaven of Clinton, MS..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The National WWII Museum in New Orleans, LA.
