It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Virginia Payne Thomas of McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred Payne and Walton Payne; and her brother-in-law Greg Tanner. She is survived by : her husband Jim Thomas; her sister Susan Payne Tanner; her daughters, Stephanie Tanner Hewitt (Rick), Hannah (Tanner House), Rebecca Tanner Nowell (Justin), Carrie (Tyler Nowell) and Finley Nowell; her close friends, Mitzi Jackson, Nancy, Dick Stevens, Delores, John Smith and Melissa Greer; and also, Beverly Thomas Martens (Erv), Delores Thomas Hoernke (Jerry), Joanne Thomas Bader (Russell) and Carol.
