It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecil Cutrer of McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Cecil departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Cecil. Though Cecil may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliot Cutrer and Hattie Hutcherson Cutrer. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Guylene Compton Cutrer; and his children, Cecil P. "Sonny" Cutrer Jr. (Viola), Christopher Cutrer (Cindy), Sandra Gail Cutrer and Elizabeth Joy Martin (Tommy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Heights Baptist Church (5140 US-98, Summit, MS 39666). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
