He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearly Malone and Mae Lou Scott Bridges; his wife Bettye Ann Bridges; and his sisters, Bonnie "Bee" Hill and Lou Ellen Conner.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie A. Jourdan of Madison, MS, Charles "Chuck" Marshall Bridges, Jr. of Tempe, AZ and Paul Anthony Bridges of Kentwood, LA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church (808 College St, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
