He was predeceased by: his parents, Feldon Dunaway and Lucille Gibson Dunaway; his daughter Kim Johnson; his brother Feldon Dunaway Jr.; and his stepdaughter Tommie Lynn Cothern.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Dunaway; his sons, Kevin Dunaway (Ashlin) and Kriss Dunaway (Kristy); and his siblings, Nolan Dunaway and Dorothy Harris. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
