He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude M. Penn Sr. (Millie Cross Penn) and Millie Cross Penn; his children, Marla P. Penn and Claude M. "Jay" Penn III; and his siblings, Peggy P. Seale, Sally P. Gahn, Joe F. Penn and Freddie R. Penn.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Morris Penn; his daughters, Tammy Lea Penn and Debra "LuAnn" White (Tony); his grandchildren, LeaAnn Johnson (Blake), Lainie A. Penn (Barry), Nicholas C. Penn (Lauren), Jessica W. Ard (Toby), Karsyn W. Garon (Jackson) and Skylar White; his great grandchildren, Parker, Piper, Blakelea, Jaxen, Ada Grace, Jay, Miles and Zora; his nephew Tanner Gahn; his daughter-in-law Linda A. Penn; and his sisters, Patty Penn and Shirley Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Abundant Life Church (206 Edgewood Dr, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (1710 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726).
