He is survived by: his daughters, Brandy Blackwell (Brandon Blackwell) of Smithdale, MS and Misty Blackwell of Tylertown, MS.; and his grandchildren, Ryan Church, Zach Blackwell, Matthew Blackwell, Caitlyn Sinclair, Cynthia Royal, Victoria Anderson and Gerald Blackwell Jr..
