He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Minton and Edith Lyle McKenzie Minton; and his siblings, John Thomas Minton Jr., Charles Edward Minton, Henry L. Minton, Jimmy Dale Minton, Emma Jean Wall and Bernice Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Trish Minton; his children, Tracey Gray (Carlos), Wendy Dunaway and Tristan Minton; his grandchildren, Trey Boyd (Anna), Hunter Boyd (Cory), Tyler Ann Boyd (Lane), Jaide Dunaway (Kodie) and Chloe Dunaway (Ramon); his sister Sandra Cardiff (Lynn); his siblings-in-law, Rachel Adams, Peggy Hodges and Randy Bowman (Tiffany); and his close friends, Gene and Judy Van Norman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hartman-Jones Funeral Home (1801 Delaware Ave, McComb, MS 39648). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
