We bid farewell to Gaylon Varnado of McComb, Mississippi, born in Tangipahoa, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 3, 2024 at the age of 90. Gaylon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vernon Varnado and Frances Evelyn Pritchard Varnado; his wife Linda Varnado; and his siblings, Stanley Varnado, Hollis Varnado, Nina Smith, Eloise Strickland, Gladys Allen, Faye Brumfield and Verlia Mae Conerly.
He is survived by: his children, Polly Varnado Crawford of Slidell, LA and Lance Varnado (Cara) of McComb; his grandchildren, Rodrick Varnado, Abby Jane Varnado, Lauren Klene and Presley Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Lainey Varnado, Madelyn Whittington, Julianne Whittington, Ridge Varnado and Atlas Thompson.
