The family announces the passing of Gerald L. Weekley of McComb, Mississippi on October 27, 2026. Gerald, born on January 30, 1933, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Gerald will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Gerald by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Gerald is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Gerald’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Lamar and Ruth Weekley; his wife Dorothy Nell Weekley; and his siblings, Steve Weekley and Janice Vansusandale.

He is survived by: his daughter Phyllis W. Smith (Steven Smith); his brother Gene Weekley; and his grandchildren, Erin Sanders (Ernest Sanders II) and Kyle Smith (Erin Smith). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Riverwood Funeral Home Cemetery.
