He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ellis McDaniel and Jennie Wilson McDaniel; his wife Mary McDaniel; his son-in-law Patrick Summers; his siblings, Marshall McDaniel, Charlie McDaniel, Henery McDaniel, Nathaniel McDaniel, Gifford McDaniel, Milton McDaniel and Emma "Cootie" Case; and his nephews, Roy Touchstone and Jerry Duncan.
He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Beeson (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Ashley Edmonds (Josh), Joshua "Skeeter" Summers (Brianna) and Shade Beeson; his great grandchildren, Addison Edmonds, Patrick Cane Edmonds, Jace Edmonds and Wesley Edmonds; his sisters, Dot Touchstone and Marie Travis; and his close friends, Larry Reid, Wayne Reed and Buzz Smoots.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Healing Hearts (3054 Old Industrial Rd, McComb, MS 39648). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Ursday Church Cemetery (3054 Old Industrial Rd, McComb, MS 39648).
