She was predeceased by: her father Haywood Kornegay; her husbands, Edwin L. Bean, Sr. and Johnny Hale; and her son Haywood Estle "Woody" Bean. She is survived by: her sons, Ed Bean and Brad C. Bean (Amy). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one step-son, two step-daughters, three step-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gillsburg Baptist Church 6126 MS Highway 568, Osyka, MS 39657.
