She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Washington Allred and Pluma Brown; her husband John Bowden, Jr.; and her siblings, Heulon Allred, Charles Allred, Donald Ray Allred, Marie Kitchens, Alma Sellers, Edna Whitehead and Janella McManus.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Collura (Don), Lee Moore (Carroll), Wanda Melton (Carlos) and Stevie Yoas (Lee Laurie); her sisters, Elaine Corkern and Bonnie Wall (George); and her grandchildren, Shannon McMillan (Tom), Shelley Ryan (Andrew), Kaila Brooks (Kyle), Karla Melton, Kory Melton, Tyler Yoas (Jessi), Hayden Reed (Hunter), Jessica Stogner (Kevin) and James Brown. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tangipahoa Baptist Church (7555 Thompson Rd, Summit, MS 39666).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tangipahoa Baptist Church in her memory.
