He was predeceased by: his parents, O. B. Honea and Lorraine Campbell Honea; and his brother Will-Edward Honea. He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Honea Preston (Roger) and Sarah Honea Choate (Cody); his granddaughters, Tori Preston, Savanna Preston and Veda Hampton; and his siblings, Carolyn, Lisa, Britt, Jack and Steve Honea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
