He was predeceased by: his parents, Reecie Turnage and Estha Reeves Turnage; and his brothers, L. H. "Buster" Turnage (Louise) and Jerry Neal Turnage (Willie Faye). He is survived by: his children, Allen Turnage (Misty) of Liberty, MS, Jackie Barksdale (Steve) of Clinton, MS, Bobbie Jo King (Dennis) of Jonesboro, AR and Christie Barkley (Jason) of Josephine, AL. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
