Roy Newton Moore Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Newton Moore (McCool, Mississippi), who passed away on July 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Newton Moore to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Veazey Moore; his daughter Wanda Fay Moore; his parents, Luther Moore and Amanda Hicks Moore; and his sister Ruth Moore Riley.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Michael Moore (Mindy) and Cindy Tapp (John); his grandchildren, Benjamin Tapp, Sarah Tapp, Mercedes Sellers (Alex) and Madigan Moore; his brother Jeff Moore; and also Russ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Liberty Chapel Cemetery.
