We bid farewell to Dedeaux Oj (McHenry, Mississippi), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Dedeaux touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Dedeaux and Daisy Dedeaux (Swilley); his wife Yvaughen Dedeaux (Bangs); his grandson Justin Levi Holmes; and his sisters, Maxine Parker and Idell Dubuisson.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Dedeaux (Debra), Greg Dedeaux (Marshella), Ginger Holmes (Mike) and Guy Dedeaux (Kristi); his grandchildren, Grant (Hannah), Joshua Dedeaux (Brittany), Brandon (Emily), Nathan, Amber Dedeaux, Bradley Holmes, Haley Wiggins (Hunter), Riley Holmes, Stephanie, Andrew Dedeaux (Jennifer), Bentley and Holden Sharer; his brother Sonny Dedeaux; his close friend Sherry Triplett; and his caregiver Sara Ransdell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Trinity Funeral Services (319 US 49, McHenry, MS 39561). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In place of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to St. Joseph's Hospice in honor of Mr. OJ to help other families in need during times such as these.
