He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Hinton and Florence Jones Hinton; his wife Bettye Hinton (Parden); and his siblings, Margie, Irma, Nadine, Rachel, Vera, Buck, Wayne and Tom.
He is survived by: his children, Chandra Larson (Carl), Tab Hinton (Cathy) and Terri Smith (Gerald); and his siblings, Lillie Sanderson, Gay Jones and Charles Hinton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (202 New Hope Church Rd, Lucedale, MS 39452).
