He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvie Davis and Clara Nordan Davis; and his siblings, Rudolph Davis, Billy Ray Davis, William Davis, Leo Davis, Geneva Harrigill and Clara Jean Johnston.

He is survived by : his wife Patsy Davis; his children, Mark Louis Davis (Jill) of Meadville and Vicky Davis Jordan (Jack) of Smithdale; his sister LaWanda Davis Newman (James) of Smithdale; his grandchildren, Colton Davis, Zane Davis (Caylee Grace), Jacob Jordan (Ally) and Liza Jordan; and his great grandchild Avah Mae Davis.
