It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Dillon of Meadville, Mississippi, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Nathaniel Abb Guice and Ethel Adams Guice; her husband Garveese Dillon; and her great grandchild Elyse Woodyear. She is survived by : her daughters, Jo Margaret Dillon Woodyear (Joe) of Laurel, MS, Karen Dillon Buckles (Matt) of Vicksburg, MS and Arie Dillon Long (Ricky) of Roxie, MS; and her grandchildren, Mandy Long Higgins (Eric), Jim Woodyear (Sarah), Kevin Long, Doug Buckles (Adrienne), Kendra Buckles Watson (Thomas), Justin T. Woodyear (Shelby) and Janna Woodyear Tyler (Justin). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter along with a host of family, friends and caregivers.

The family request memorials be made in her name to Samaritan's Purse.
