It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Willena Scott of Meadville, Mississippi, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson Scott, Jr. and Lois Elizabeth Murray Scott; and her siblings, Sherrod Scott (Laferrye), Earnest Scott (Marjorie), A. J. Scott (Emily), John Scott (Helen), Thomas "Dude" Scott, Frances Flowers (Truly), Rachel Buckles (Claudie), Janette Smith (Barney) and Aline Scott.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Artie Scott; and her caregivers, Barbara Tuttle, Sheila Dover, Darla Nash, Mike Smallwood and Matt Smallwood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church General Fund.
