He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Salters Cumberland; his parents, J. D. Cumberland and Nettie Jenkins Cumberland; his brothers, Jesse Cumberland, James Cumberland and Jerry Wayne Cumberland; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Boone and Wayne Perkins.
He is survived by: his sisters, Syble Perkins, Edna Fisher (Don), Nan Boone and Hattie Latham (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Bill, Martha Salters and Clara Cumberland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
