He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence James Kees Jr. (C. J.) and Treva Horne Kees. He is survived by: his wife Scarlett Rivers Kees of Pinola, MS; his children, Lesley Larkin Kees of Raleigh, Ashley Trenton Kees (Mary Beth) of Austin, TX, Jay Kirkley Kees of Pinola, MS and Simmie Scarlett Follin (Tim) of Canton, MS; his grandchildren, Jacob Follin (Lenicha), Austin Kees, Scarlett Follin, Shepherd Kees and Stella Kees; and his sister Sandra Lowman (Ronnie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
