He was predeceased by: his wife Patty Dearman Keys; his parents, Archie Keys and Estelle Keys; his grandchildren, Jared Keys and Christina Thomas; his brothers, Houston Keys, Hillman Keys, Lathell Keys and Alton Keys; his mother-in-law Tressie Dearman; and his son-in-law Jimmy Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, George Keys, Jr. (Carol) of Naples, Florida, Gwen Callahan (Steve) of Mendenhall, MS, Becky Toxey (Gary) of Clanton and Theresa Sullivan of Mendenhall, MS; his grandchildren, Rhonda Thompson, Mark Tutor (Mary), Les Manning, Brian Manning (Laura), Jamie Sullivan, Nicole Smith (Glenn), Melissa Hancock (Lucas), Cameron Sullivan (Kayla), Morgan Bangerter (Andy), Anna Thomas and Will Thomas; his sister-in-law Jimmie Keys of Florence; and his close friend Lynda King. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
