Irma leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Irma’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Irma will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wilson Woods and Agnes Velma McMillian Woods; her grandson Kenneth Edward McWilliams; and her siblings, Abner Maylon Woods, Tommy Merill Woods and Rena Ree Woods Gatewood.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda McWilliams (Charles), Byran Evans (Regina), Gail Mullens (Billy) and John Evans (Jody). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great child.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Everett Baptist Church (799 Everett Church Rd, Mendenhall, MS 39114). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
