With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Howard Patterson of Mendenhall, Mississippi, born in Gulfport, Mississippi, who passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Howard Patterson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Archie Bully Patterson and Rose Ella Daniels Patterson; and his brother Archie Patterson. He is survived by : his wife Genevieve Pickering Patterson; his children, Joey Patterson (Leslie), Judy Patterson Lee (Tommy) and Jeanie Patterson Gregory (Johnny); his grandchildren, Shey Patterson (Nicole), Kati Winningham, Jennifer Walker, Anna White (Chris), Mallory Ruder (Cory), Chris Patterson (Morgan) and Tim Patterson (Caroline); and his stepgrandchildren, Stephine McCoy, Lori Hill (Aaron), Hannah Barnard (Brian), Hillary Hayman (Danny) and Halie Pike (Chris). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
