He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Nell Berry; his daughter Susan Berry; his parents, Virgil Berry and W. C. (Maggie Mae Thames); and his sister Melissa O'nita Russum.
He is survived by: his son Jason Berry; his grandchildren, Lee Berry, Jakob Berry and Eli Berry; and his nieces and nephews, Steve Womack (DeAnna), Wayne Womack (Wendy), Ryan May, Doug May, Doug Phillips, Tim Gray, Lavon Gray, Duran Gray, William Hall, Martha Phillips, Sharon Keys, Stacey Womack and Paige Jones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (3077 MS-13, Mendenhall, MS 39114). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Weathersby Baptist Church Cemetery (114 Church St, Mendenhall, MS 39114).
