He was predeceased by : his wife Sybil Ray Burch; his parents, Mac D. Burch, Sr. and Martha Jones Statham; and his siblings, Johnny Burch Sr. and Evelyn Jenkins.

He is survived by : his children, Jessie Burch and Nancy Burch; and his brothers, Donald Burch, Don W. Burch, Eddie Burch, Mac D. Burch, Jr. and Joe C. Burch. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
