He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Haynes Fanning; and his parents, Samuel Plato Fanning and Emma Lonello Fanning. He is survived by: his children, Quintin Fanning of Laotto, IN, Matthew Fanning of Union City, CA, Patricia Ruckhaber (Mike) of Spokane, WA, Lori Senger (Tony) of Florence, MS and Ginie Boyette (Justin) of Fredericksburg, VA; and his sisters, Melissa Tucker (Tom) and Melanie Fanning (Daniel). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
