It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Nell Millis (Mendenhall, Mississippi), who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Elton Vanderford "Top" and Era Nell Warren (Higgins); her husband Harold Mac Millis, Sr.; and her son Harold Mac Millis, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Sonya Millis; her sisters, Sylvia Gregory, Deborah Butler (Ramon), Syble Puckett, Penny Furr (Tim), Sally Jones (Larry), Linda Byrd and Brenda Sonnenberg (Jimmy); and her grandchildren, Preston Millis (Abby), Kayla Canterberry (Adam) and Madison Shinstock (Chris). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
