He was predeceased by: his father Willie Green Holmes; his sister Regina Faye Holmes; and his grandparents, Cleve, Hosea Holmes, Isadora and Fannie Mae Baugh.
He is survived by: his mother Versia Ree Holmes; his daughters, Brittany of Magee, Mississippi and Porsha McCullum of Magee, Mississippi; and his siblings, Charles Holmes (Gwen), William Holmes (Wilmetta) and Jean Dobson (Edward). He is also survived by two aunts, 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
