We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Alma Joann Tadlock of Meridian, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Edward "Ed" Hagwood; her siblings, William Willis "Sonny" Hagwood, Minnie Lee Hagwood Massey and Ella Mae Hagwood Miller; and her former husband Rufus Shirley.
She is survived by: her mother Annie Hagwood (Scarborough); her significant other Bobby Tadlock; her children, Tammy Phillips, Paul Tadlock and Chris Tadlock (Jennifer); and her sibling's children, Gloria Jones (Dennis), Jean Crawford (Borden), Debbie Hathorn (Mike), Billy Hagwood (Cindy) and Donald Wayne Hagwood (Michelle). She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and numerous cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes (2514 7th St, Meridian, MS 39301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Calendar Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery (6192 Causeyville Clarke Rd, Meridian, MS 39301).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to made in Jo's honor to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society, or to a charity of your choice.
