He was predeceased by: his parents, Gayle Booth Dowdle and C. R. Dowdle; and his brother Wade Dowdle (D. C.). He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Milan (Stuart) and Jennifer Rawson (Scott); his wife Anne Self Dowdle; his granddaughters, Megan Taylor DuPont, Miriam Gayle Milan and Liv Clare Milan; and his brother Wayne Dowdle.
