It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Elizabeth Atkinson Walker of Meridian, Mississippi, born in Louisville, Mississippi, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. "Bob" Walker; her parents, Leonard Atkinson and Clara Davis Atkinson; and her sister Clara Lynn Morgan. She is survived by: her daughter Ginny Walker Shurlds (Henry); her grandchildren, Robert Walker Shurlds and Abbey Faust (Mikey); her great grandchild Michael Joseph Faust III; and her sister Emma Atkinson. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
