Barbara Jones Phillips Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 27, 2025, at the age of 81, Barbara Jones Phillips of Meridian, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jones and Ora Jones; her brother Vernon Jones; and her son Delane Horne. She is survived by: her husband James Phillips; her brothers, Tony Jones (Cindy) and Glenn Jones; her sons, Stephen Horne (Iris) and Dano Perez; and her stepsons, James Phillips (Isabel) and Charles Phillips (Alexis). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

The Phillips Family suggests memorials be made as donations to Tunnel to Towers, Wounded Warriors, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
