She was predeceased by: her significant others, Jack Jackson and Christian; her parents, Walter Rainer and Bessie Rainer; and her siblings, Adrian Rainer, Durwood Beaumont "Dub" Rainer, Evelyn Harrison and Donald Rainer.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Jackson (Susan), Cheryl Gressett (Steve) and Shannon Yates (Tommy); her grandchildren, Emily Mendias (Lester), Craig Jackson (Laine), Nathan Gressett, Drew Jackson (Sarah), TJ Yates (Casey) and Madison Yates; her great grandchildren, Cooper Huggins, Mallory Jackson, Owen Jackson, Lyla Yates, Jack Yates, RaeLynn Dumaine, Gwyndolyn Yates, Juniper Yates and Layla Jackson; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Rainer and David Rush (Erma).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A burial was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ms Veterans Memorial Cemetery (248 Honor Circle, Newton, MS 39345).
The Jackson Family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made as donations to the All In Fund at First Baptist Church Meridian.
