It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Stevens of Meridian, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Ruben Stevens; and her brother W. M. Smith. She is survived by : her children, Christie Baker (Shaun), Steve (Donna Harford) and Donald Harford (Yarsie); her grandchildren, Holley Benson, Chloe Benson, Carly Baker, Heather Goings (Zach), Tyler Baker (Emily), Rachel Shirley (Dylan), Briana Brown (Adam), Mia Harford, Gabriel Harford, Donald Harford Jr., Camila McDurmond, Abigail McDurmond and Savannah Mc Durmond; and her brother George Edward Smith.
