He was predeceased by: his father W. C. Mathis. He is survived by: his mother Billie Jean Mathis; his children, Hannah Mathis and Jennah Mathis; and his siblings, Brenda Dew (David), Bobby Ray Mathis, Shirley Jones (Ronald), Kathy Dearman (Russell), Carolyn Dolan, Linda Farmer (Randy) and Steve Mathis (Sondra). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Robert Barham Family Funeral Home to help cover Billy's funeral expense.
