He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Rogers and Ruby Rogers of Collins, Mississippi; his siblings, Polly Carlisle, Dorothy Adcock and Wayne Rogers; his wife Juana Joyner Rogers; his sons, Terry Rogers and Benjamin Pittman; and his grandson Stephen Jackson.

He is survived by: his children, Lori Jackson (Pepper) of Meridian, Becky Gibson of Meridian and Perry Rogers (Patty) of Petal; and his grandchildren, Justin Jackson, Ginger Delaney, Daniel Pittman, Terry Lynn Rogers, Brent Rogers, Katelyn Freeman, Leia Gibson, Ian Gibson, Christopher Rogers and Amanda Rogers. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Roadside Rescue Network or the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter.
