He was predeceased by: his parents, R. E. Truelove and Gladys Truelove; and his siblings, Billy Truelove and Mary Evelyn Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Judy C. Truelove; his children, Bobby J. Truelove, Jr. (DeeAnn), Judy Blackwell (Keith) and Caroll Ann Hancock; his grandchildren, Justin Hancock, Danielle Bankston (Randy), Tyler Blackwell (Alyse), Matthew J. Truelove and Clay Truelove; his great grandchildren, Brody Bankston and Denver Bankston; his brother Gary Truelove; and his friend George Seaman. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Clay Memorial Cemetery (401 7th Ave, Cuba, AL 36907).
The family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Truelove be made to Church of the Way.
