Carlee Whitaker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlee Whitaker of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Whitaker; her son Brian Smith; her parents, James Hamilton and Alma Hamilton; and her siblings, A. C. Hamilton, J. C. Hamilton, G. C. Hamilton, Mattie Delores Hamilton, R. C. Hamilton, W. C. Hamilton, Frances Thelma Hamilton, Margaret Watson and Helen Lee Watson.
She is survived by: her son Justin Smith (Earon); and her grandchildren, Ella, Rylee, Cannon Smith, Noah, Ruby Burrell, Madison Collins, Hunter Smith and Campbell Chancey. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
